Tango Love by Nicole Flockton

Today I have a sexy new short novella release with a review and giveaway: please don’t forget to check the other tour stops on this two day tour to see what others think about the book, and read excerpts!

Book Review:

A fast-paced sexy read where the couple has to decide between their desire for one another and the potential falling out of their relationship should things go badly.  Melinda has just discovered the feelings she has for her housemate, and unsure of their reciprocation, she is out for a night of fun. James was instantly attracted to his landlady from the moment he interviewed for the position as her housemate.  Slowly coming to terms with his attraction, and taking a chance that she won’t shoot him down he makes his move at the dance club.  First he discourages a possible suitor, then spinning her on the dance floor in a perfect and sexy tango: her favorite dance.

From the first beat of the sensual dance, the two are lost in one another: the attraction between them a palpable thickening in the air, removing awareness of the others in the club for long moments.  The ride home is sensually and sexually charged, nearly giving the taxi driver a show of far more than expected as they head home.  Careful detail the romantic and emotional coupling is drawn out for the reader, until Melinda wakes alone the next day with no sight of James.  When the lonely day leads to a night where he doesn’t return, and Melinda’s confidence and belief in their relationship is shattered, a chat with her best friend results in tears and recriminations.

Cleverly written with a situation that many of us have encountered and an ending that is both steamy and romantic, Nicole Flockton has managed to pack a lot of punch into a short story.  The characters arrive fairly well developed and complete, only their communication and interaction with one another changes, and changes in a way that is believable and credible.

About Nicole Flockton

On her very first school report her teacher said ‘Nicole likes to tell her own stories’.

It wasn’t until after the birth of her daughter and after having fun on the community board of eharlequin.com that she finally decided to take the plunge and write a book.

The stories she writes are contemporary romances with either a medical setting or in the boardrooms of high powered business. Nicole enjoys taking two characters and creating unique situations for them.
Apart from writing Nicole is busy looking after her very own hero – her wonderfully supportive husband, and her two fabulous kids.
