After finishing book one in J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series I knew I’d be reading this. But it took me a while to finish it. It’s not that I didn’t like it. Quite the opposite. Please read on for my review of
I LOVED IT
It was heart wrenching. It killed me. It made me cry.
On the other hand, I laughed. I got passionate in the quest of eliminating the bad guys. I wanted to see Rhage and Mary getting the HEA they so deserved.
And it left me hanging.
No. It doesn’t have a cliffhanger, thank goodness! It’s just that it left a plot open, for the next book to solve. Which actually killed me, but I have already started the next one, so I’m good.
What I didn’t like in this book, was the fact that neither Rhage or Mary wanted to open up and things had to become critical to be open and honest with each other. And even after their talk, they were still things unsaid and they were both too stubborn.
Of course, that doesn’t mean I’m giving up! Lover Eternal was amazing and, as I’ve already said, I started the next book immediately!
