Demoni Vankil: Höbin Luckyfeller’s Fieldguides #1 by Jaime Buckley

A mysterious and fast read, Demoni Vankil tells a story worthy of an epic, in less than a hundred pages.

Despite starting off in a vague note, the story progressed smoothly as explanations are provided immediately or follow closely after the ambiguity.  Interesting characters are shrouded with mystery during their introduction while fascinating concepts enter the story subtly,  but leaves the readers with a lasting impression.

The plot takes an unexpected twist, leading to a melancholic ending. Written in the first person, using the perspective of Hobin Luckyfeller, this novella relies on Jamie Buckley’s narration and the story held within the fourteen letters within this book’s pages, both blending together seamlessly and solidly to create this one-of-a-kind tale.

About Jaime Buckley

"Husband & father of 11 children, Jaime Buckley is no stranger to storytelling. After publishing 12 comics and two graphic novels, resurfacing hand injuries from a car accident forced Jaime to walk away from his creation. In 2010, Jaime's daughter and wife encouraged him to tell his full story in novel form. Both Jaime and Kathi (as editor) worked diligently to bring the first installment Prelude to a Hero to life.

When NY Times Best Selling Author David Farland read the manuscript, he encouraged the Buckley's. "This should be a series," he said, "A long series." Jaime has since published several works, including two games and an iOS choose-your-own-ending app based on his Wanted Hero universe."
