As with the first of the series 2 Days ‘Til Sundae, the first line of the synopsis comes close to summarizing the fun contained within. The only piece missing is Cat’s proclivity for finding herself in the middle of chaos. Usually it is chaos that is easily avoided or remedied, unless you happen to be Cat. While she is concentrating on making the long-distance in her relationship become less so, the interactions with Flynn amidst the other momentary upheavals are well defined and documented with several laugh out loud moments.
Like the first in the series, this book is a fun and easy read, not requiring much from a reader than to enjoy and follow along as one event after another seem to sideline Cat’s planning . What I do appreciate is that Cat manages to roll with most of the tumult, rather than get stuck in a woe-is-me festival: easy to do since even the simplest of her plans are often derailed.
While this is the second in the series, it does stand on its own without great difficulty, and while there is a solid conclusion to the main story-line, there are several possibilities to keep the story going with yet another book in the series.

Cat is at it again--overreacting, overthinking, and overindulging....
The New Year is here and for Catherine Hemmings that means one thing--the year she met Joel "Fynn" Trager is over. Long-distance love with her Minnesota man has had her living out of a suitcase for months, never knowing for sure what time it is on either end. Now thirty-five is breathing down her neck and she is tired of living in limbo....
In just 2 short months she'll be another year older.... Can Cat make it down the aisle under the wire? It's a race against time and the laws of wedding physics, and she is going to need all the help she can get... especially as she begins to realize that love just might be blind to reality.
Is Catherine really ready to give up NYC for good? To take on a ready-made family? To say I do?
Will she follow her head or her heart?
